The owners have two months to verify, confirm or correct the registrations of their properties.

For many regions in the country, the posting and pre-posting procedure of cadastral information started yesterday.

More specifically,Ā the posting procedure started in the ā€œKallikratisā€ Municipality of Agrinio of the Regional Entity of Aitoloakarnania and the ā€œKallikratisā€ Municipalies of Korinthos and Loutraki-Agioi Theodoroi of the Regional Entity of Korinthia.

Property owners must update their contact information on the websiteĀ Ā www.ktimatologio.gr, and then they must verify and confirm or correct the registration of their property within two months (four for people living abroad),Ā in order to avoid court resolutions which are time-consuming, costly and a lot of hassle.

As highlighted by theĀ Hellenic Cadaster,Ā the citizens must look at and verify the description and the legal information concerning their properties (Cadastral Table) as well as the borders of their plots (Cadastral Diagram). If they agree with the posted information, no other action is needed.

If they do not agree with some information, they can file an application for correction (until the respective expiry date) electronically at Ā www.ktimatologio.grĀ or at the cadastral registration office, by appointment.

Late declarations can also be filed electronically at Ā www.ktimatologio.grĀ or at the cadastral registration office until April 4, 2022 for Korinthos and January 19, 2022 for the Municipality of Loutraki – Agioi Theodoroi.

The procedure for the pre-posting of cadastral information also began yesterday in regions of the regional entities of Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos, Karpathos, Kastoria and Florina.

Property owners, who have already received the relevant notifications individually, can proceed to the correction of errors in the registration of their real estate property in the Cadaster following a process which is easy, fast and free until August 11.

Via the website of the Cadaster, with the use of their TaxisNet access codes, the beneficiaries can access the registration of their rights and the geographic images of their properties.

If they have not declared their real estate property to the Cadaster, they still have time to do it electronically at www.ktimatologio.grĀ  or the local cadastral registration office by appointment.
